For our guests, we have with us two officials of the Ministry of Justice: Hon. Eva Morgan, Deputy Justice Minister for Administration and Public Safety; and Ms. Fatumata Sheriff, Assistant Minister for Rehabilitation and Corrections. They are being joined by Ms. Marjo Callaghan, Head of our Corrections Advisory Unit here at UNMIL. They will be updating you on our correctional system and the challenges it faces. Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the media, and good morning to all of our listeners tuned to UNMIL Radio for our weekly press briefing. We are very pleased to have here with us today the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) in Liberia, Ms. Ellen Margrethe Løj, who also is the Coordinator of UN operations in Liberia. She just returned from UN Headquarters in New York after briefing the Security Council on the 19th Progress Report of the Secretary-General on Liberia. As you may have already heard, the Security Council yesterday renewed the mandate of the UN Mission in Liberia for another year.
